GE Fanuc PLC OPC Server Configuration Guide

Channel Configuration

Serial Use SNP-X protocol with GE Fanuc Series 90-20, 90-30 or 90-70 PLC.
Ethernet Use SRTP (Service Request Transfer Protocol) TCP/IP protocol with
Series 90-30 PLC TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (IC693CMM321).
Series 90-30 PLC CPU364 with embedded TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (IC693CPU364)
Series 90-70 PLC TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (Type 2) (IC697CMM742)
Master IOServer will initiate all requests.
Slave IOServer will wait for and response to requests.

Device Configuration

SNP ID Address of SNP device, a blank entry is a Null SNP ID, the ID "Broadcast" is the Broadcast SNP ID.

Variable Types

Note:
Up to 500 words or 8000 bits can be read or written in a single message when using the SNP-X protocol.
Up to 1024 words or 16384 bits can be read or written in a single message when using the TCP/IP protocol
